Wear The Lilac

Postby Squigglyx » Fri May 22, 2009 09:19 pm

A popular gamesite is promoting the 25th as 'Wear Lilac for Alzheimers Day'.

Deep within that hollow stare,
of our presence they're unaware.
A life that is fading away,
in spite of things we try to convey.
Memories locked up in their mind,
and there they're kept all confined.
Good times spent long ago,
and all their love they did bestow.
For these moments will live forever,
and our pride in them will endeavor.
Seeing them lying there we know why,
Alzheimer's is called the long good-bye.
Om grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I cannot accept, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of those I had to kill because they p1$$@d me off.

Anyone else up for the challenge?

No pics from me due to the nature of the lilac I'll be wearing, sorry. But rest assured I will be wearing lilac (and I'll be carrying my zarking towel too  )

There's a couple of 'Wear the Lilac' campaigns to raise money that I'm aware of, and I think it's great that an online gaming site is supporting this too.

I wonder how many pictures you'll see here Steve that equals donated money

Lilacs aren't in bloom here yet. Do you also accept people wearing lilac colour?
