Accomodation booked! The first, and most difficult step to my comming to Hogswatch!

I hear that the Kingwell Lodge at the racecourse still has space.

You could also try the Half Moon Inn at Horsington which is about 10 min drive from Wincanton and very nice.
Not got number though sorry

And yes November dates are correct as was in shop other day and Reb mentioned them.

I like to book before I leave Spring event. That being said there is a certain lovely couple who put up with me :)

I don't know how many of you met my parents at the con - it was their first one and my Dad doesn't even read the books.

Last night when I was checking they were home safely Mum said she didn't want to wait another two years, so I mentioned Hogswatch... you might have my parents with you this time!

Errrrk. In a fit of sentimentality I promised Bernard I'd be at Hogswatch. Does anyone have a spare bed/floor I can beg for permission to sleep on?

I would ring round all the inns. Many are not far away. I believe both the Unicorn and the Dolphin both have single rooms which are sometimes free.

If you can get the Friday off, it's nice to be there on Friday night. You could also phone the shop and see if they know if anyone has a space. Maybe someone has a room they would share at the Bear?

Good luck :) They are actually building a travellodge near the bottom of the town but goodness knows when that will be done.

Getting the Friday off shouldn't be a problem... one of the best things about being temporarily jobless :P

So the dates are definitely 27th and 28th of November? Do people stay the night of the 28th as well? (Asking this as I wished I had stayed the Monday night at the con *sobs*)

[edit] Have found myself a room at the Hunter's Lodge Inn, which I'm gathering is quite a walk away from the town centre (near the race course).

WOOT I'm coming to Hogswatch! [/edit]
